All articles published in JEBGS are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). This license permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided that the original work is properly cited.

Under this license, users are free to:

Self-Archiving Policy

JEBGS supports open knowledge dissemination and allows authors to archive their work in various repositories without restriction.

Authors are permitted to deposit the following versions of their manuscript:

  • Preprint (submitted version): May be shared at any time on personal websites, institutional repositories, or preprint servers.
  • Accepted Manuscript (peer-reviewed version): May be deposited immediately after acceptance, with acknowledgment of publication in JEBGS.
  • Version of Record (published version): May be shared and archived immediately after publication, including on institutional repositories, personal websites, and academic platforms.

When self-archiving, authors are encouraged to:

  • Provide a full citation to the published article in JEBGS
  • Include a link to the journal website or DOI
  • Indicate clearly the version of the manuscript
