Article Publication Charge

Article Processing Charge (APC)

The Journal of Civil and Environmental Engineering in the Global South (JCEEGS) applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) to support the costs associated with editorial management, double-blind peer review, copyediting, typesetting, and online publication.

The APC is only charged after a manuscript has been formally accepted for publication following the peer review process. There are no submission fees.

The APC for each accepted article is:

• IDR 250,000 for authors based in Indonesia
• USD 20 for international authors

This fee supports the sustainability of the journal while ensuring that all published articles are made freely accessible under the journal’s open access policy, enabling wider dissemination, visibility, and impact of research in civil and environmental engineering, particularly within the Global South.

JCEEGS is committed to maintaining equitable access to publication. In certain cases, APC waivers or reductions may be granted for authors from low-income countries or under special circumstances, subject to editorial consideration.
